Besides being a cost effective free source of power, solar panels also allow to you explore more remote locations while being off the grid. More scenic camp sites, no noise, and maybe no neighbors. Imagine the night sky with no light pollution and the stars that will be visible. Many campgrounds nowadays have a section that is “No Generator Allowed” or generators can only be used during certain hours of the day. This could make the difference of getting a camp site or not. Solar panels themselves are relatively low maintenance just needing a light surface cleaning and are light weight for easy set up and tear down.

RV solar panels could be the wave of the future with regulations to fight carbon emissions. As their popularity and use grows more units could come standard with solar panels. This will not only save money in the long run but also change and extend travel. You could reach new locations that you only dreamed about because they were too remote to access with their ease of use and maintenance. The possibilities are endless.
